My New Year’s Beauty Resolutions

Hello beauties! So New Year’s Eve is tonight and I got up really early this morning and did my New Year’s resolutions. I love doing them because I’m someone who really likes making lists and setting goals. I thought that it will be really fun to share with you my NY’s Beauty Resolutions and I hope that you may take some of them into consideration and maybe put them into your own list. :))
So the first thing I really need to start doing is drinking a lot of water. We all know how important it is to keep our bodies hydrated, but did you know that we’re supposed to drink about nine cups of water a day?! Well, I didn’t so I decided to firmly follow this rule and drink up! :) This is so important for out physical health and it is also the key to healthy looking and glowing skin. Speaking of drinking water, another think I will try to do is drinking as less coke as possible (I know I can’t totally give up on it, unfortunately I love it too much). I understand how bad it is for my body and I promise to do my best!

Next thing is doing some sport. I’m probably the least sporty person you’ve ever met but I am determined to start doing some physical exercises this year. I am thinking about yoga recently. I know that it is technically not a real sport, but is a great place for me to start from. Plus, the relaxation it gives will benefit me greatly, too. :))

Seriously, I need to start cleaning my cell phone. I just recently discovered that cleaning our cell phones is really important and that it can prevent breakouts. Our cell phones collect so many bacteria during the day that you can even imagine! According 'Throughout the day, cell phones can be exposed to many surfaces that have bacteria on them. When you're talking on it, you’re putting bacteria close to your mouth and the warmth and moisture create a great environment for bacteria to thrive and cause acne.' Yuck!!

Speaking of bacteria going directly on our faces, the next thing on my list is cleaning my makeup brushes at least twice a week. I know that this is an essential thing to do if I want my skin to be pretty and acne-free, so I will definitely start cleaning them twice a week, rather than once.

Last but definitely not leas it wearing sunscreen every-single-day. I am so mad at myself for just forgetting to put on sunscreen before I head out the door sometimes… I don’t know if you are aware but wearing sun protection is equally important during the summer and the winter time. The sun can easily damage your skin even when it’s cloudy outside! And for the sake of healthy and wrinkle-free skin I am firmly determined to put on my favorite sun screen every day I go out and not forget about this step anymore! :)) I would really advise you to do the same, as well. It will pay off eventually.

So beauties these are my beauty resolutions for 2013. Wish you an amazing evening tonight and may the New Year bring you loads of joy and happiness! <3

The Giveaway prizes!
I was really wondering what to pick but finally I decided to go for two sets. I love buying sets for myself because I believe that they are a great way to try out different products without spending tons of money on the full-sized versions. So, the first set is by Benefit and it’s their “Lee Lee gets Flirty”.

3. Passion – a lovely light, baby pink color which I think is a necessary shade in every girl’s nail polish collection. It just screams “Feminine!”

Nail of the Day: OPI You Don’t Know Jacques: Review + Swatches

Hi everyone! :) I can’t tell you how excited I am about today’s NOTD just because I have a very special color to show you all! It’s by OPI and it’s their “You Don’t Know Jacques!”. This is a dark, cool-toned dusty/grayish taupe color. It doesn’t have any shimmer or glitter in it and it has a really nice glossy finish. I think it’s a gorgeous neutral shade that can match any outfit quite nicely. This nail polish has become my absolute favorite fall/winter shade; it’s so pretty and elegant! :))

The formulation is nice, too! Even though I’d like it better if the polish was a bit more opaque. To get full coverage you’ll need to apply about three coats. However, it applies quite easily and it dries out quickly. This is my second time wearing this nail polish since I bought is and I can say that the staying power is amazing. I wore it for six days and when I removed it I hardly had a chip or two. Lovely!

Have a great weekend!
