Hello beauties and welcome to
the last day of my The 30 Day Beauty Blog Challenge! :) It’s finally here and I’ve been debating
quite a lot which beauty item to choose for my Holy Grail Beauty Item post today. After the long consideration, I
finally decided to talk about my Batiste
Dry Shampoo in Blush which I cherish and love to pieces! :)
Batiste Dry Shampoo in Blush |
The first time I heard about dry shampoo was last year when
I was having a trip in England. I was super impressed by the concept behind the
dry shampoos and I instantly bought myself one and it was my all time favorite
dry shampoo – Batiste. I’m sure most of you are familiar with
this brand. Their shampoos have a bunch of different scents and also some are
adapted for people with darker hair, which I think is great! My favorite scent
is the Blush one, it smells really floral and fresh (plus the
packaging is pink lol).
According to the Batiste website“Batiste Dry
Shampoo banishes oily roots, giving dull, lifeless hair the makeover it
needs without water. A quick burst revitalises hair, adds body and texture and
leaves it feeling clean and fresh too. No need to worry about skipping a
shampoo”. What can I say…? I agree! I absolutely agree with Batiste’s
description. Their dry shampoo does exactly what they are supposed to do – they
really absorb all oils in your hair, add amazing volume and make your hair (and
scalp) feeling (and looking) fresh and clean. :)

I
love using dry shampoo mainly to give my hair volume and shape. What I do every
day is - before I start styling my hair I shake the can well, spray some product
on the roots of my hair, then rub it into my scalp using my fingertips (this
gives a lot of shape and volume) and then I brush the product out so that the
powder is fully dispersed. After doing so my hair has amazing body and texture
and it doesn’t look dull or flat. Using dry shampoo is also great for when you
hair looks a little dirty/oily because it gets rid of it instantly.
I’ve
tried a bunch of different brands that make dry shampoos, but to me, Batiste is the best one! The only
negative thing I have to say is that Batiste
sells only in the UK, the US and in Australia (correct me if I’m wrong).
Therefore, I can’t purchase their product in my country, which really makes me
sad. On a brighter note, my lovely boyfriend’s sister is kind enough to be
bringing me some bottles of Batiste
dry shampoo every time she comes to visit so I always have some in
stock! Just know that if you live in some of the countries mentioned above –
you are lucky to have this awesome product pretty much everywhere around you!!
:))
The
Batiste dry shampoo comes in different sizes – from a mini one (50ml. -
£2.49) to a big
one (400 ml. - £4.99).
I always like to keep a mini one in my purse just in case I need some urgent
extra boost in my hair. :))
Thank
you all for reading; I hope that you enjoyed my 30 Day Beauty Blog Challenge.
It’s been a blast for me making it! :)) I have many review and style
suggestions coming soon, so keep your eyes peeled if you’re interested! :)
Have
a great and successful week everyone!
XO,
Andrea
