My Favorite Eggnog Recipe:

Hello everyone! Hope you are doing well! So, with the Christmas just around the corner, I decided to share with you one of my mast favorite drinks that I like to sip during the holiday season and it is eggnog. Until last year I had always refused to try eggnog, cuz honestly the idea of drinking raw eggs seemed a bit gross. But then a friend of mine convinced my to give it a try and I loved it! Since then I’ve tried out a bunch of different recipes and the one below is my all time favorite which I like to drink in those cold December nights! And it’s pretty easy to make, too :))

Eggnog

INGREDIENTS:

·         4 eggs

·         1/3 cup sugar

·         1 pint whole milk

·         1 cup heavy cream

·         100ml. bourbon or whiskey

·         1 teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg

·         Cinnamon

DIRECTIONS:

In a bowl of a stand mixer or in a blender, put the four eggs and blend them nicely. Gradually, add the 1/3 cup of sugar and continue beating until the sugar is completely dissolved. Add the milk, bourbon/whiskey, cream and the nutmeg, stir to combine.

Pour the mixture into a nice glass and sprinkle a little cinnamon on top. And it’s ready to serve! :))
