Day 20: Favorite Mascara: “They’re Real” by Benefit

Hi, beauties! First off, I would like to apologize for the lack of posts the past two days, but the reason for that being was that I was crazy sick and I had a terrible headache. Nevertheless, I feel better today and I really missed blogging, so here I am! :)

Today, I am going to share with you all my favorite mascara. And without a doubt the lucky winner is Benefit’s ‘They’re Real!’. Hands down – the best mascara I’ve ever tried! I love mascara and I love trying out different ones, and all I can say is that Benefit’s one definitely is my most often reached one!

For starters, ‘They’re Real!’ has a nice shiny metallic tube and really cute shape which I love, but honestly I don’t expect anything different from Benefit.

When you open the tube it is like ‘BAAAM’ – you see the weirdest wand ever! Hehe! It is unique because of its tiny spiked ball at the tip of the wand. However, weird looking, this special tip is the greatest thing about this mascara because it really helps those little lashes on the inner corner of the eye to reach and curl. And this makes your eyes look so much more present and awake, I love it! :) The main part of the wand I also quite like because its rubber bristles separate my lashes amazingly!

‘They’re Real!’ really curls and lengthens my lashes. When I use this mascara I never use my eyelash curler, just because the mascara itself curls them so well and for a long time. It also makes my lashes sooo much longer and gives them great definition without clumping or smudging. Every time I use this product I get so many compliments and question on whether I have false lashes on! :) I should warn you; however, that this mascara really gives you a dramatic look and if you are a fan of more natural looking lashes, then this may not be right for you.

The one negative thing that I found with ‘They’re Real!’ is that it’s really hard to remove, but it’s not terrible either. :)

Unfortunately, this amazing product comes with its price tag – it retails for $23 which is a lot to spend on mascara but I definitely will repurchase it, because it really is fabulous! However, if you are not sure whether you’ll like this product or not, I would advise you to buy the Mini size first, which is $10

Hope you find this review helpful and informative! Thanks for reading! :)

Let me know which your favorite mascara is?

Day 16: Favorite Nail Polish: Essie French Affair

Hi lovelies! So, I’ve always been a huge nail polish junkie and I love experimenting with all different shades and styles. Sometimes, I go for super crazy, bold designs, whereas, occasionally I play it safe and I put on more natural shades. Honestly, it’s been quite difficult for me determine which is my absolutely favorite nail polish, but in the end I decided to go for my Essie “French Affair”. The reason being is that when it comes to my go-to mani that I obviously wear the most, I like to keep it classic and more elegant.

If you are like me and you like more ladylike shades, Essie’s nail polish is a great option. It’s light, baby pink with a tiny bit of purple undertones to it. I was quite impressed with its opacity, because usually with the light colors, I noticed that it’s quite difficult to get the opacity you need in just 1-2 coats. With this one, however, it was super easy to get it as opaque as in the picture with just two thin layers.

It’s not the fastest drying nail polish, but it isn’t that bad, to be honest. I like that it dries to a nice glossy finish and it’s doesn’t chip easily. I can wear it for some good 5 days and don’t have a single chip! :)

Good alternatives to this shade are also Essie’s “Ballet Slippers” or My Very First Knockwurst” from the OPI Germany Collection for Fall 2012.

Hope you enjoyed reading!

Let me know which your favorite nail polish is! I’d love to know! :))

Day 15: Photo of your favorite Bracelet

Hello beauties! Firstly, I’d like to apologize for the lack of updates for the past two days, but I was extremely busy renovating my boyfriend and I’s room and I didn’t have any time to post. I’m really sorry about that, but now I’m here! :))

So, as you’ve probably guessed right by the title, today I’ll be showing you my favorite bracelet. Well, to be more specific – my favorite set of bangles:

Juicy Couture Bracelet

They are from Juicy Couture and the set comes with tree bangles and each of them has really cute pendants to it. My favorite one has a little rhinestone flower, which I thing is lovely.

I love this set because I can wear the bracelets with so many outfits and they give a really nice glam vibe to my whole look. Not to mention – the bangles are rose gold! And I’ve been obsessed with rose gold stuff lately. :))

Thank you all so much for checking out my blog! <3

Have an amazing week and I’ll see you tomorrow :)

Andrea
