Rise and shine beauties, today I am very excited to introduce you to my favorite eye shadow of the moment – MAC Woodwinked. I’ve mentioned this beauty before but I figured it deserves its own little review on my blog because it is gorgeous and seriously amazing! <3

When I asked on Twitter which MAC eye shadows I need to invest in a bunch of you said Woodwinked. I wrote it down and later that night I watched one of Tanya Burr’s makeup tutorials and she was using it so I was like – ‘It’s a sign!’. I got it and it was love of first sight! Woodwinked is a stunning warm ‘antique’ (as MAC describes it) brown with lovely golden shimmer running through it. I wear it all over the lid and it looks lovely. The cool thing about this shade is that when you blend it out with a brush, it kind of changes its color and it appears darker than in the not-blended areas. I love this, as I don’t need to apply a separate shade into my crease, which is fab when I’m too lazy or in a rush. Thanks to its pretty golden particles, Woodwinked catches the light beautifully and makes my look more whimsical and my eyes pop. I have green eyes and this shade looks really well on me but I bet it would compliment anyone’s eyes so don’t wait any longer and go swatch it! :)

As for the formula, Woodwinked is a total winner as well! It is really creamy and silky and it applies like charm. It is not chalky at all and it glides on really easily without looking patchy. It stays on place all day long even without a primer under and I have never experienced any fallout! Woodwinked is very well pigmented and a little goes a long way. As most of my MAC eye shadows, this one didn’t disappoint and I love applying it. :)

Overall, I think it’s safe to say that Woodwinked is my top favorite MAC eye shadow at the moment as it combines this unique shade with an outstanding formula. It’s love and I cannot recommend it enough, I’m sure you’ll get tons of compliments! <3

Lots of love!
