Clarins Beauty Flash Balm: Review and Pictures

Hi lovelies! I hope you had a great start of the week! :) Today I am super excited to share with you my thoughts on the Clarins Beauty Flash Balm!

I got this as a sample a while ago and to be honest I wasn’t super pumped to try it out, because I hadn’t considered myself a Clarins girl at all. Until last week! For some reason, I haven’t been able to get enough sleep lately and I am feeling and looking super exhausted and tired! I had an important meeting last week and I had to do something in order to make myself look a bit more decent haha :). As I was looking though my beauty cabinet I saw the Clarins’ Beauty Flash Balm and I remembered that this stuff is supposed to make the skin look rested and relaxed, so I decided to give it a go!  Well, I fell in-love with it pretty much in a flash lol! :))

Clarins Beauty Flash Balm
Clarins Beauty Flash Balm
This product is incredible! It is designed to use as a face primer for tired and stressed skin, which you apply right before you put on your makeup. It moisturizes, brightens and tightens the skin, leaving it feel really sooth and soft. It eliminates the signs of fatigue and really energizes the skin. What I’ve noticed is that it also gives the prettiest youthful glow to the skin, but it certainly doesn’t make it look oily or greasy in any way! Its non-greasy formula makes the product perfectly suitable for people with oily complexion. The Beauty Flash Balm absorbs into the skin (without leaving residue) really quickly and prepares it for the application of your foundation creating an even, moisturized “canvas” and also helps the makeup to last on your face for hours and hours. The balm is also supposed to minimize the appearance of wrinkles but honestly, I don’t have wrinkles yet (thank God!) and so I can’t tell you how it performs in that department, sorry!

You can also use the beauty balm as a facial masque. You just apply medium layer (as the assistance lady at Sephora told me) and leave it sit for about 10-15 minutes. Then just rinse it away. This is meant to moisturize deeply the skin and to energize it. Now, if I have to be 100% honest, I did this the other day, but I didn’t noticed any difference in my skin. I don’t know, it may be just me, but from now on I prefer to use this product only as a face primer where it shows its true strength :)!

I like to use the Beauty Flash Balm mainly when my skin needs that “pick me up” when it’s tired and dull. What I do is - I cleanse my skin really well (which I do every time before I put on makeup) and then I gently apply the balm. You should be very careful how you apply it though, cuz it has its tricks. Basically what you wanna do is - put on thin layer of the product and then gently, using long strokes disperse it into your entire face. Don’t rub in the product because it’s supposed to work like film! Sometimes when my skin is really dry, I’d put moisturizer underneath the beauty flash, but typically the balm itself is moisturizing enough for me! :)

One thing that bothers me with this product, though, is the smell! It has quite heavy artificial, almost perfume scent to it which I don’t like at all. On a brighter note, the smell doesn’t linger so it’s generally fine! :)

In a nutshell, I adore this product so SO much and when my sample run out I’d definitely purchase the full size tube! It makes my skin so soft, smooth and luminous and I love it! It also helps my foundation to stay on longer and it doesn’t peel or flake! This is a fantastic primer, which really does perk up the skin and I highly recommend checking it out! The product retails for £29 for 50ml. or $45 for 1.7 oz.

Thank you all so much for reading and please don’t forget to let me know if you’ve tried this product before and what you think of it if you did! :)

Have a wonderful week! <3

Clothing Haul: H&M, Bershka and Stradivarius

Hello lovelies and Happy Saturday! So as you probably guessed right from the title I went cloths shopping! Now, this was something that I HAD to do as soon as possible because for the past months I had been spending all my money on makeup and cosmetics and I kind of neglected my style. It got to the point where I realized that I dress like my grandma in a way haha! And let me just tell you - it wasn’t a most pleasant feeling! BUT it made me think and here I am now with a fashion haul for you guys! :))

I figured that there is no need to shop for warmer, winter clothes since the spring is slowly but surely on its way! Therefore, everything I got is spring and summer appropriate, as you’ll see in the pictures! :) Now without further rambling – let’s hop right into the haul:

Jewelry Picks: H&M and Stradivarius
The first few things I want to show you are some jewelry from H&M and Stradivarius. I hope that you’ll be able to see them in the picture and sorry I didn’t make separate shots of them all but I thought that there would be way too many pictures in this post. Anyway, my favorite piece of jewelry I got were these H&M feather earrings, which I love!  They are so pretty and interesting and I can’t wait to style them in an outfit! <33

Since I felt an urgent need to spice up my style a bit I was determined to go for at least one piece that is “out of my comfort zone”. In out case this has to be these pastel pink cheetah printed pants, which I got from H&M. They are lovely, they are pretty and I knew that I had to get them! Hello new style hehe! ;)

As for tops here is what I have to share with you and I hope you like them:

And last but certainly not lest I got a belt! But not any belt but a BOW belt! When I saw it in Bershka I new I wanted it! I think it would be so pretty to wear it on my waist with a nice flowy spring or summer dress! <3

So beauties, these were few of the things I wanted to show to today! I got a bunch of other stuff but I didn’t want to bore you to death with crazy long post full of million pictures! :)) I really hope you enjoyed this little haul and I will see you all very soon! <33

NOTD: Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure in 510 I Pink I Can: Review

Hello everyone! I don’t know about you but I am kind of fed up with the winter now and my greatest wish is the spring to come as fast as possible! I miss the sunny days, the green grass and the blossom flowers so much it gets me sad! :( And since the spring has no intention whatsoever to come soon where I live, I decided to paint my nails bright pink today and so - the spring has officially sprung on my nails lol!! :)) I am someone who really enjoys wears darker colors on my nails during fall/winter and then brighter, more vibrant shades during spring and summer! This kind of puts me in the mood of the season! Today is the first time in months when I wear pink on my nails, so this means that the spring has no other choice but to hurry up, right, right? I hope so hehe! :))

Without further ado, let’s talk about the actual nail polish now! :) Today I chose to paint my nails with Sally Hansens’s Complete Salon Manicure in 510 I Pink I Can! It is a lovely bright bubblegum pink color, which is so pretty and I love it! The nail polish has absolutely no shimmer of glitter in it and has a nice cream, glossy finish.

The application of this nail polish is a blast! The brush is on the thicker side, which I adore and it is really easy to control. The polish is not messy around the cuticles at all and the covers the nail perfectly in one swipe!

The nail polish dries out super quickly and I only needed two thin coats of it to get full opacity. I remember when I was wearing this nail polish before, it had incredible staying power - it didn’t chip for days and days and it had minor tip wear!

In a nutshell, I love this nail polish and I highly recommend checking out Sally Hansen’s Complete Salon Manicure line! The colors are gorgeous, the quality is implacable and the price is okay! I did another NOTD post on a minty color from the same line; you can check it out here! :))

I hope you have an amazing day and I will talk to you all very soon! <33
