How To: Strawberry Banana Smoothie

How to Strawberry Banana Smoothie

Hello my lovelies! Hope you had a fab weekend and all is well! <3 I spent my days off with my boyfriend and our puppy travelling across the country, sightseeing and relaxing. We had a marvelous time and really enjoyed ourselves! :) Everything was perfect except that it was SO hot outside!! The car thermometer hit 320C and even though I really loved the sun and the first summer-like days I definitely felt too hot and needed a refreshing drink! The one I really like to make when the deadly heat hit us is Strawberry Banana Smoothie, so I thought I’d share with you the way I like to prepare mine. I know that this post is a bit different than what I’d normally post but I really hope you’ll enjoy it! :)

You will need:

10 Strawberries
2 Bananas (medium firm)
1 Low-fat Greek Yoghurt container
1/2 teaspoon of Vanilla Extract
80 gr. Sugar
1 cup full of ice cubes
1 tablespoon of honey

How to:

First, mix the Greek yoghurt with the sugar and the vanilla extract. Stir everything well until the sugar is almost dissolved. Then, put the mixture into the freezer and let it sit for about two hours. Once it’s frozen take it out and put it into your blender along with the tablespoon of honey. Then chop the fruits in size of your preference, include the ice cubes and blend everything together. If you don’t like your smoothie as thick you can always add some iced water. Once you have the desired consistency pour into chilled glasses and enjoy your refreshing beverage! <3

So this was my Strawberry Banana Smoothie recipe. As you saw, it’s pretty easy to prepare and it is quite healthy and nutritious. It is also really refreshing!! :) Definitely let me know what you think of it if you end up trying doing it! (:

Lots of love,
Andrea

Lush Ro’s Argan Body Conditioner: Review

lush ro's argan body conditioner

Hello lovely ladies and Happy Friday! It’s been so hot outside this week and it feels as if summer has arrived, which makes me soo happy! With the hot summer days approaching, however, our skin will be in display a lot more, so of course we want it to look at its best, don’t we?! :) Having said that, today I decided to share with you my absolute favorite body product that’s made my skin divine – Lush Ro’s Argan Body Conditioner!

Ever wanted the amazing soft and silky feeling that the hair conditioners give to your hair but on your body? Well, now that’s possible with this genius creation from Lush! Ro’s Argan basically is a body conditioner, which is supposed to feed and nourish your skin while leaving it feel and look moisturized and super soft! To be honest, I was quite skeptical about this working but I got a little container of it in one if the Lush’s Christmas box sets and I decided to give it a go! Let me just tell you that it was love of first use haha! This little miracle worker made my skin ridiculously soft and smooth and it felt so moisturized, I couldn’t believe it! <3 As I’ve mentioned before I have really dry skin so I definitely need some help in the moisturizing department and Ro’s Argan definitely came to the recue! (: My boyfriend even noticed the amazing difference in my skin, which is rare, trust me haha!

At first I was a bit confused about how am I supposed to use this body conditioner because I had never tried anything like that before! Basically what I do now is firstly I exfoliate my entire body, and then wash it with my favorite body wash. After that I smooth on a little bit of Ro’s Argan all over my body and let it sit for about 3 minutes. Then just rinse it off and towel dry myself! :) The feeling this body softer gives to my skin is so luxurious and incredible and I can’t really compare it to any other body product that I’ve used! Also, with this conditioner a little goes a long way so you don’t need to use tons of it!

Some of the key ingredients of Ro’s Argan are Cocoa, Cupacu and Shea butters. There are also Agran, Almond and Rose oils, as well as Brazil nuts. All of these ingredients are well known for their nutritional and moisturizing properties and they definitely work amazingly in this lovely body conditioner! <3 As its name suggests Ro’s Argan smells like roses! Now, I usually am not fond of rose-scented products but this one stole my heart somehow! The scent is really settle, non-artificial and I personally sense some honey undertones, which I absolutely adore! It also does linger for hours, which gets big thumbs up from me! (:

Sadly, this little gem comes with its price tag, retailing for $32,95 (7,9 oz.) or £15.50 (225g) but if you ask me it’s worth every penny because it works increible!! The only thing I can regret about this product is that it didn’t come earlier in my life! It’s now a firm staple in my pamper nights and I will continue repurchasing it forever haha! I really cannot recommend this enough! Honestly, if you are looking for a great way to nourish and make your skin irresistibly soft, Ro’s Argan is the product to go for in my opinion! <33

Thank you so much for reading loves! Definitely let me know if you’ve tried Ro’s Argan before and what you think of it! Have a wonderful weekend everyone! ((:

Lots of love,

My Top 5 Spring Nail Polishes

my top spring nail polishes

Hi girls!  Hope everything is well! :) Today I finally came round into doing my Top Spring Nail Polishes post, which I am really excited about! It’s turned out to be quite a challenge though because it was hard for me to narrow them down to only five but I did it and I couldn’t be happier with the ones I picked!  As you may know from previous posts I adore pastels and more colorful shades on my nails for spring, so that’s what I went for! Hope you enjoy! <3

Essie - Mint Candy Apple

Being one of the most famous Essie nail polishes, Mint Candy Apple has become a firm favorite in my nail polish collection! It is this gorgeous mint green color with beautiful creamy finish! It applies like a charm and stays on for days and days! In my opinion Mint Candy Apple is a definite must-have if you love minty nails as much as I do! :))

Models Own – Lemon Meringue

It was really difficult for me find the perfect yellow nail polish! I noticed that most of the ones on the market were too dark or look really dirty on the nails which I hate! Then last year I stumbled across this beautiful light, sunny pastel yellow nail polish and when I applied it I fell in-love! It applied relatively easily even though it was a tad streaky but when it dries out it looks exactly as beautiful as in the bottle so I don't really mind this! <3

Essie – Lilacism

I recently I did a full on review on Lilacism and you can read more about it here. I can only say that it is definitely my favorite spring nail polish and I love it to pieces! It looks so pretty and makes my hands look super tanned, plus it stays on the nails for absolute ages and I cannot recommend it enough!

Models Own – Blooboo

Next, we have this pretty pastel baby blue nail polish from Models Own! I have been super impressed by the band because their polishes are fab shades and the quality is amazing too! Blooboo have beautiful creamy finish and I only needed two thin coats to get full opacity. I noticed that Blooboo and Mint Candy Apple look a bit similar, but the Essie one is definitely on the green side, whereas Blooboo is a true light blue! :)

Essie – Fiji

If you are looking for a gorgeous cream pale pink nail polish, Fiji is the one to go for, in my opinion! It is absolutely beautiful, the formula is outstanding and it could be easily worn all year round! The reason I wanted to include Fiji into my Favorite Spring Nail Polishes is also because neutral nail polishes are a huge beauty trend for Spring 2013 and I think they could be a lovely change from the bright, bold colors! :))

I really hope you enjoyed this post, beauties! Definitely let me know which are your favorite Spring nail polishes, I’d love to add some new ones into my collection! :) Have a fab day!

Lots of love,
Andrea

Essie Lilacism Nail Polish: Review and Photos

Essie Lilacism Nail Polish

Hello beautiful ladies! If you saw my most recent Beauty Haul post you may know that I picked up some really lovely spring nail polishes from Essie recently and I was super excited to try them all out as soon as possible. What happened, however, was that I painted my nails with Essie Lilacism first and I haven’t tried any of the others later haha! I just fell in love with Lilacism so much that I reapplied it several times in a row. I think that it’s safe to say that Lilasicsm has become my absolute favorite nail polish for Spring2013 and I wanted to share it with you! :)

I have always related spring with pastel colors. Be it for clothes, accessories, makeup or nail polishes, when I think ‘Spring’ pretty pastels pop into my mind. With that being said, with the first rays of spring sunshine I immediately went pastel-crazy and I knew wanted some new nail polishes! When I went to my local drugstore and I saw Essie Lilacism it basically screamed ‘Spring’ at me (true story) and I instantly picked it up. I’ve been seeing swatches of Lilacism on all over the Internet but honestly the shade is ever prettier in person! It is this beautiful light dusty lilac color with blue undertones to it and has gorgeous glossy cream finish. It looks incredibly feminine and elegant and as if this wasn’t enough – it makes my hands SO tanned, which I adore! :)

I am a total Essie girl! I like OPI a lot as well, but I feel like Essie’s formula is much better for my nails. Lilacism definitely didn’t disappoint in that department! It has incredible pigmentation and I only need two coats to get full opacity. I noticed that Lilacism is a little bit more watery than I am normally used with Essie, but honestly it doesn’t bother be because it dries pretty quickly. This nail polish lasted on my nail for about four days without chipping and with minimal tip wear (without top coat), which I quite impressive! <3 Lilacism applies like charm; it slides on the nails so easily and the amazing medium-sized brush allows you great control over the application!

Overall, I am extremely happy with this nail polish! The shade is to die for and the formula is outstanding! If you like pastel nail polishes I definitely recommend you check Lilacism out!
If you’d like to get this nail polish you can do so here! <3

Have you tried Lilacism before? Which is your go-to spring nail polish? :)

Lots of love,
Andrea
