Soap and Glory Scrub’em and Leave’em Body Buff / Review

Soap and Glory Scrub’em and Leave’em Body Buff

Soap and Glory Scrub’em and Leave’em Body Buff

Okay, confession time – I am a huge body scrub lover and I think I have a problem! I own waaay too many scrubs but there is something so amazing in the way my skin feels after I’ve given it a nice exfoliation that fascinates me massively. Having said that, I am constantly on a search for a new scrub that will take my breath away and recently I found it – Soap&Glory Scrub’em and Leave’em (£8). Being on my second jar right now, I think it’s safe to say that it is my ideal companion for the wintertime – it gets rid of all flakes whilst nourishing my skin and leaving it smelling divine. Winner!

It is not a Soap&Glory review if I don’t take a moment and comment on the packaging. Scrub’em and Leave’em comes in this cute little jar with light pink lid and I absolutely adore it. The whole pastel vintage-y vibe makes me so excited to use the product and it gets better – the scrub itself is a pretty pink color as well! I simply cannot say ‘no’ to a pink scrub so I was sold purely on that.

Another thing that I am massively loving about this scrub is the scent. I adore Soap&Glory body stuff because of the fab scent and this one is no exception! Scrub’em and Leave’em is infused with the S&G Mist You Madly fragrance, which is a really lovely floras scent that smells super fresh and yummy.  The scent does linger for a couple of hours but it is really light and definitely not overpowering. Love. It.

The good news is that Scrub’em and Leave’em actually works wonders on the skin as well. It is an oil-based scrub, which is enriched with Babbasu Oil, Jojoba and Mandarin Oil and has sea salt particles in it. Apart from the bigger sea salt granules, this product also has teeny tiny microbeads in it, which make the scrub more gentle and delicate. Scrub’em and Leave’em doesn’t feel abrasive on the skin but at the same time manages to get rid of every last bit of dead skin, just make sure you buff it really well into the skin. Once I rinse if off, I am left with silky soft and smooth skin, which is nicely prepped for my body butter. Even though Scrub’em and Leave’em is oil-based, it does not leave greasy residue but just deeply moisturizes and nourishes the skin. Brilliant, brilliant product that I can’t fault – it really does work a treat and my skin has been thanking me greatly. Big thumbs up from me!

Have you tried Scrum’em and Leave’em? How do you like it? Which is your favorite body scrub?

Lots of love,
Andrea

  15. I've yet tried this one. S&G is hard and $$ to find in Canada. Right now I'm using S&G's Flake away. It's a little thicker and the flakes and grains of salt are bigger which mean less scrubbing. It makes your legs feel amazing !
