Calling out to all dry lip sufferers out there – I have finally found the solution to all our problems in the form of the NUXE Reve de Miel Lip Balm (here). Move aside Dior Crème de Rose (here) you’ve been replaced and there’s no going back! As you may know, I have naturally extremely dry lips and finding the perfect lip balm to take care of them has always been quite the task. Most lip balms I’ve tried just don’t seem to offer long-term improvement and get the job done only while on the lips. Reve de Mile, however, is a whole nuther story – it not only feels super moisturizing on but with continuous use it actually sorts out the problem and improves the whole condition of my lips more permanently. Brilliant!
Reve de Miel is designed for very dry and chapped lips and it is titled as ‘ultra nourishing lip balm with honey and precious oils’. I don’t know what those precious oils are but apparently they work absolute wonders as my lips have never been this soft and smooth! The balm is enriched with honey, shea butter, plant oils and grapefruit essence, which not only contribute to the ah-mazing, delicious scent but also nourish the lips like there’s no tomorrow. Reve de Miel is hands down the most conditioning lip balm I’ve put on and its incredible, rich formula moisturizes as well as repairs and restores the suppleness of the lips. Just pop some before you go to bed at night or apply some throughout the day and your lips will be soothed, fuller, and much softer!
The formula of Reve de Miel is unlike any lip balm I’ve tried before. It’s a bit strange at first and even though some people may disagree - I love it. It has rather thick consistency and it feels almost grainy. Luckily though the balm glides on easily and once it’s melted on the lips it feels smooth and lightweight. It dries to a nice matte finish, which is ideal for under your lipstick. If your lips are thirsty and you are tired of the not-so-cute look of the dry, chapped lips – Reve de Miel will come to the rescue. You really can’t go wrong with it and that comes from someone who’s been battling the flakey lip for ages.
Have you tried Reve de Miel before? How do you like it?
Lots of love,
