Move aside Essie Cute As a Button (here) – go sit on the bench. You’ve been bumped off the top spot by the ever-so-gorgeous Essie Peach Daiquiri (here). I instantly fell head over heels in love with it, so much that I could happily introduce it as my favorite nail polish for Summer 2014. This beauty caught my eye among all the other beautiful summery shades I saw and it has been glued to my tips for the past few weeks. And I adore everything about it! This mouthwatering shade is the perfect summer companion and it does remind me of delicious fresh cocktails and summer parties. Peach Daiquiri is one of the most gorgeous peachy corals I’ve swatched and even though it does look a bit similar to Cute As a Button, this beauty has more pink undertones, which I love. It is bright but not neon and there is no shimmer or glitter in sight. Peach Daiquiri is one of those ‘suit everyone’ shades and could be beautifully worn on both nails and toes. It’s love!
My love affair with this gem got even deeper when I applied it for the first time. The formula is an absolute winner – the perfect mix of thick and thin and it applies like charm. Peach Daiquiri has possibly the most user-friendly brush out there. It is wide and covers the whole nail in one go and the rounded edge is perfect for taking the color up to the cuticles without getting all messy. You get no streaks or bald patches with this lacquer – just an even and uber glossy finish. Beautiful. The polish dries in a flash and hangs around for some good five days. Do I need to say more?
Have you tried Peach Daiquiri before? Isn’t it the ultimate summer shade?
