Rimmel Scandaleyes Shadow Paint in Rich Russet swatches and Too Faced Pink Leopard Bronzer swatches

Bronzed cheeks and lids, two coats of mascara and a pale peachy lip. This has been my go to makeup look recently and let me tell ya – I really do feel like a bronzed goddess, who has just landed from somewhere exotic haha. You know how the mascara and the lip shades go, so let’s just focus on my current favorite bronze-getters. A liquid eye shadow and a gorgeous three in one bronzing powder – the perfect summertime pairing that take seconds to apply but keep me happy and boost my confidence for hours and hours. I am in love.

Too faced completely own it on the bronzer field and after their Chocolate Soleil matte bronzer (here) left me smitten it was about time I discovered the wonders of their Pink Leopard Blushing Bronzer (here). This multi-tasking beauty combines your bronzer, blush and highlighter all in one gorgeous animal printed compact. It adds the most stunning warm bronze-y color to your cheeks with just a hint of pink that just livens up the face beautifully. The fantastic glowy finish is to die for and literally screams ‘I just got back from the beach – look at my healthy tan!’. Just sweep your brush all over the pan to mix all the color together and gently apply wherever you want to trick others into thinking that the sun has naturally kissed you. You will love the super rich color pay off, promise. Pink Leopard hangs around for about eight hours without fading, which is pretty incredible and definitely gets thumbs up. If you fancy warming up the sides of your face and make them all dewy and lovely Pink Leopard is the product to check out. It doesn’t accentuate pores and imperfections and it just rocks.

Say hello to the bronze-y eye perfection in a tube – Rimmel Scandaleyes Shadow Paint in Rich Russet (here). A liquid cream eye shadow. Sounds bizarre but works wonders. It is one of those ‘slap on and head out the door’ type of products, which we all know and adore, especially for them lazy days. It takes me somewhere between 30 seconds and a minute to get both my eyelids done. The creamy formula just glides on and I love how creamy and non-drying it is. One point I should mention is that the paint dries and sets rather quickly, so I suggest you work it as fast as possible to avoid any lines or uneven areas. Do that and enjoy the up to eight hours waterproof, crease-free longevity the shadow offers. This gem doesn’t smudge or budge and literally glues to the lids but without feeling heavy. Brilliant. As much as I love the formula of the Shadow Paints, the color is still the best part. Rich Russet is this absolutely gorgeous cool toned bronze shade that dries to a nice metallic finish and gives you full-blown color in just one sweep of the applicator. Speedy smokey eye made easy with this bad boy. You can build the color up or down and the gorgeous bronze shadow just makes the eyes pop and the look deeper. You can sport Rich Russet on its own like I do or use it as a base – whatever floats your boat but either way – the results are stunning and compliments will be received.

Have you tried these products before? Which is your secret weapon to achieving bronzed look?

Lots of love,

  8. Such an easy makeup look, I love bronze on the eyes and then a pinky nude lip. The Bad To The Bronze Maybelline Color Tattoo is one of my faves to get an easy bronzed lid.

  9. These photos are lovely. I like the simple makeup look. It's winter where I am, so bronze is out, but I love my BB cream!
