Happy December everyone! The magic month is finally here so let the Christmas countdown begin! Whoop whoop! Before we get too festive though we have one more important step to take – talk about my November-most loved. November was a rediscovery month for me (again) and I’ve rekindled my love for some forgotten, yet absolutely brilliant gems. I love shopping my stash and you should definitely give it a try – you’d be surprised as to how fun and rewarding it actually is! I still have one new fab find that works wonders though, so keep on reading to hear all about it and all the other amazing bits that I am convinced you all need in your life, pronto.
Guerlain La Petite Robe Noire Eau de Parfum (here)
Seeing that we are headed to the part season, I figured it’s about time I whipped out one of my all time favorite wintery / Christmassy scents. This little Guerlain creation is the epitome of glamour, class and style. The scent is not my typical fruity fresh scent and that’s exactly why I love it so much. It’s different and bold in a way and I am not even going to try and describe it for you. I am *far* from your perfume expert, but one thing is for sure – you need to go give it a sniff and see how you like it. The bottle is a compete work of art and the notes of black cherry, almond, berries, rose, black tea, vanilla and patchily (thank you Temptalia) add to the whole seasonal feel brilliantly. La Petite Robe Noire is a must-have for any perfume addict, so if you have someone like that in your life this will make a perfect Christmas present.
Vichi Idealia Eyes* (here)
Sadly my insomnia battle continues and so are my under eye darkness struggles. Last month I shared my lil’ trick for covering the dark circles (here) but as a proper beauty blogger I like to switch thing up and experiment with more products and see if I like something better. So the star of the show for November definitely was this Idealia Eye contour. It works a total treat and I love how it hydrates, softens and brightens up my under eye area in seconds. I like it pop it over my regular eye cream and the results are phenomenal. The skin is more supple, amazingly moisturized and I look ten times more awake and radiant. Love. It.
Soap & Glory Kick Ass Concealer (here)
This is a pretty well-know product round these places but it’s earned a place in my Monthly Faves yet again. Let’s put it that way – if you are looking for a more budget-friendly concealer that will cover anything from under eye darkness to red and pesky blemishes - look this way. This duo-shaded bad boy correct and conceals everything you want gone and its moisturising formula makes everything a pleasure to apply. It doesn’t dry out the skin, it blends beautifully and the fantastic built-in powder helps lock everything in place for hours and hours. Hello flawless complexion! Full review here.
YSL Cream Blush in Baby Doll (here)
I have a thing for bold lips and pink cheeks during the winter and to help me with the latter I called my trusty YSL blush to the rescue. It gives you that ‘I just come from the outside and it’s freezing’ type of look that I adore. The gorgeous frosty flush of light pink brightens up the complexion and makes it look fresh and luminous. Baby Doll always captures my heart with its lovely cream-to-powder formula that just glides on without being patchy or uneven and which stays around for some good eight hours. Absolutely dreamy! Well now you know what to ask for Christmas if you have a soft spot for blushes like I do *insert wink emoji*. Review here.
Chanel Rouge Coco Shine Lipstick in Suspense (here)
With all those vampy and brown lipstick choices I’ve had on my hands recently I kind of neglected my other love – fuchsia lips. Luckily in November the fuchsia made a comeback and the fact that the lippy comes from Chanel makes everything that much more exciting. Not only does this beaut has mind-blowing pigmented and creamy formula but the shade is right up my alley as well. Faltering cool toned fuchsia berry that has elegant and feminine written all over? Check. And it’s perfect for the season if you fancy a break from all the reds and plums. One more item to add to you Christmas wish list perhaps? I would if I were you. Review here.
