Ever since visiting Dubai in October I’ve been waiting for the sun to come out, so that I can start indulging in kiwi sorbets. I ate shameful amounts when in Dubai and it was my savior from the heat. Not only that but it has since become me favorite post-workout snack. It’s so refreshing and picks me up instantly. And the best part is that it’s actually healthy and so much better for you than ice cream. Hello new favorite Summer treat!
Over the past few weeks there haven’t been a day without me having at least one kiwi sorbet and since posting about it on social media I’ve had a few people asking me how I do it. It’s actually the easiest thing and I even feel silly calling this a recipe. It literally takes ten minutes to make and for 4 servings this is what you need:
6 large kiwis
2 tbsp. honey
Basically all you need to do is peel and chop the kiwis and then just blend them until smooth. Then add some honey and obviously you can add as much as you fancy but since I like my sorbet more tart I usually opt for around two tablespoons. After that just give the lime a little squeeze and stir everything well. Voila! It’s a child’s play and now all you need to do is put the mixture in plastic cups (or in one of those cool ice lolly moulds but I couldn’t find one unfortunately) and put them in the freezer. Wait for a couple of hours and enjoy!
I know this was probably the most random post I’ve done but I hope you liked it and let me know if you give the sorbet a try! It’s divine – I promise you!
Lots of love,
